Isabella Herrera, RBT, is an experienced Registered Behavior Technician with three years providing Applied Behavior Analysis services. She earned her bachelor's degree in Psychology with a concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis from Florida International University and is completing the final semester of her Master of Arts in Applied Behavior Analysis, Professional Practice, at the Florida Institute of Technology as she works toward Board Certified Behavior Analyst certification.

Her passion is teaching new RBTs who are entering the field. She explains the RBT role clearly and competently, prepares students for the board exam, and makes sure they understand not only what to do, but why the work matters to the people they support.

Mirell Fernandez, RN, MSN, is an experienced registered nurse, healthcare quality professional and clinical instructor with a passion for education and professional development. Her background includes clinical nursing, healthcare quality, compliance, auditing, and Medicare and Medicaid program integrity. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization in Leadership and Administration, strengthening her expertise in healthcare leadership, quality improvement and education.

As a Clinical Instructor at VIDA Training Center, Mirell provides hands-on education and preparation for students pursuing careers as Certified Nursing Assistants and Home Health Aides. Her teaching emphasizes clinical skills, patient safety, accurate documentation, professionalism, and the importance of quality and compliance in healthcare, and she is committed to helping students develop the knowledge, confidence and practical skills needed to succeed and grow in the profession.

Francisco leads VIDA's CPR programs and handles group onsite trainings and in-house trainings across all of our CPR and BLS offerings. He runs the setup, the hands-on practice and the documentation so every session moves smoothly from the first arrival to the last certification issued.

Whether the group is one classroom or a whole agency floor, he keeps the training practical, calm and paced the way a real emergency demands.

Maria worked for the State of Florida for more than 15 years across APD and DCF, supporting some of the most vulnerable people the public system serves. She holds a degree in criminal justice and brings extensive field experience, including work in high-pressure settings where calm, safe judgment decides the outcome.

She has been a certified Professional Crisis Management (PCM) instructor with Vida Training Center for more than 11 years. In that time she has taught prevention, de-escalation and safe response the way they are used in real settings, so behavioral health, ABA, education and mental health staff leave able to act competently the moment a crisis begins.
